一部《热风》记录着《新青年》由高潮到分化的转变时期鲁迅坚持战斗的历程和他的战绩,《热风》以世界的视野、现代的眼光批判中国“陈旧”的“国粹”,它的启蒙意义在于催促民族通过反省自新自强,由“中国人”而“世界人”。

＂The Hot Wind＂ recorded Lu Xun＇s enduring fighting and his successes in the period when the New Youth was declining from its climax and transferring towards disassembling. It criticized the old Chinese traditional heritage from a perspective of global and modern. Its enlightening significance was to promote the self-reflection of Chinese Nation and transfer themselves from ＂Chinese people＂ to the ＂people of the world＂.
