The development of Chinese contemporary oil-painting gradually is taking on diversification and forgiveness. We should adort the attitude of the principled toleration, when facing of the post-modernism current of thought to the Chinese contemporary oil-painting is very important. We should discard the coarseness and retain the essence and make the choice self-consciously and wisely. At the same time we should consider positively how to develop our national cultural ideal and national spirit, thus we can create Chinese oil-painting with the characteristics of nationality, age and speciality.
