Discussion on principle of strengthig healthy Qi and dispelling pathogenic factors of classical prescriptions

疾病是人体内部正邪斗争的结果,扶正祛邪是张仲景治疗疾病的大法。详析了经方是临证灵活驾驭扶正祛邪治则的关键,在运用这一原则时,宜攻补相辅相成,补虚不留邪,祛邪不伤正。

Disease is the outcome of the struggle between healthy Qi and pathogenic factors. ZHANG Zhong-jing indicated that sthrengthening healthy 0i and dispelling pathogenic factors were the basic thera- peutic principles to treat disease. It is pointed out that classical prescriptions were the key to applying the principle of sthrengthening healthy Qi and dispelling pathogenic factors in clinical study. When this princi- ple was employed, sthrengthening healthy Qi and dispelling pathogenic factors must integrate with each other. In strengthening healthy Qi , do not influence the body resistance ,and when dispelling pathogenic factors, do not influence the body resistance.
