Application of "3S" Technique to the City Planning and Building

"3S"技术作为新兴的具有极大应用价值的信息科学技术,在近十余年取得了快速发展,并在国民经济和社会发展中发挥出越来越大的作用。文章主要探讨了GIS、RS技术在我国城市规划与建设中的应用,并对“3S”集成技术在未来“数字城市”建设中将发挥的作用做了展望。

Great progress has been made in ＂3S＂ technique during the recent decade. As the latest information technique, both RS、GPS and GIS are playing an ever increasingly important role in national economy and social development. This paper discusses the application of RS and GIS technique in city planning and building and analyzes the effect ＂3S＂ integration will make in the construction of ＂digital city＂in the future.
