A comparative research on chinese and western sports culture

运用文献法和比较研究法就中西体育文化的产生及运行方式等方面阐述中西体育文化的主要差异,并分析预测了它们在中国未来的现代化进程中的地位和作用。主要结论:中国体育文化是一种内外兼修、身心并育的养生体育文化,西方体育文化则是以竞技运动为主要形式,充分强调个性发展,强调更快、更高、更强的竞技体育文化。

By means of comparison and documentation, this paper deals with the main difference between Chinese and western sports culture. An analysis and an evaluation have been made of their importance and effect in China＇s moderation process. The main conclusion is that Chinese sports culture focuses on keeping good health both metntal and physical whereas western sports culture focuses on the development of personality and aim is at faster, higher and stronger competition.
