he general composition of vehicle navigation and information system and its evolvement are introduced. Different integration methods of vehicle integrated navigation systems with GPS are compared with each other and analyzed, respectively. The special attention is paid to the research of integration of GPS with dead-reckoning and map matching for vehicular navigation,and the information fusion methods of the integrated navigation system and the errors correction methods of navigation sensors are proposed.
