Does Labor Have Value or Not?

社会主义市场经济中的劳动具有价值,这是从现实出发得出的结论,是政治经济学研究方面的根本性创新。从这一认识出发就能够使工资反映劳动的价值,实现按劳分配方面的原则,使劳动者成为市场的主体,使尊重劳动成为普遍的现实。

The social value decided by social necessary labor is formed through competition in the whole society. Average profit comes from surplus value in the final analysis and production price is the value in the social scope. Seen from the angle of the whole society, the general production price of social commodity is consistent with the general value. Social need restricts not only the establishment of market value but also the formation of production price, and market value and production price are unified on the basis of social need.
