摘要
用于空间光通信的宽带LiNbO3行波调制器,采用变频技术将Ka频段的信号变频到较低频率,再直接调制光波。并通过理论分析、分布电容求解及CPW结构的优化得到Ka波段微波光调制器的主要技术参数。其跟踪和数据中继卫星之间采用激光链路,并论证了宽带LiNbO3行波调制器用于空间光通信的可行性。
For travelling wave LiNbO3 modulator of broad band for space optical communication, signal frequency in Ka band was converted into low frequency range by using converter technique, and then, light-wave was modulated directly. The primary parameters of microwave optical modulator in Ka band were gotten through theoretical analysis, computing distributed capacitance and optimizing CPW structure. The laser link was used between tracking and data relay satellite system, and feasibility of this scheme used travelling wave LiNbO3 modulator of broad band is demonstrated.
