摘要
本文在对元谋变质岩调查研究历史沿革作出评论的基础上，就其地层划分、矿产资源总貌及成矿特征、与周边变质岩地层对比、地质时代分析等基础地质相关问题进行探讨，进而得出基本结论为：元谋变质岩可分为两套地层──普登群与猛岗河群，其地质时代分别属于太古宙及古元古代。
Basing upon a review of the investigation history of Yuanmou metamorphic rochs,the basic geological problems of it,such as stratigraphic division,outline of mineral resources,metallogenetic characteristics,stratigraphic correlation with around metamorphic rocks and analysis of geological period, etc are discussed in this pape.The basic conclusion is that the Yuanmou metamorphic rocks can be divided into 2 series of strata,ie Pudeng Group and Mengganghe Group,separately belonging to Archaeozoic and Proterozoic.
