再论山地学

THE SECOND DISCUSSION ON MONTOLOGY

欲要完善和发展山地学，一定得加强山地学理论研究，含：１．全面认识山地的形成和演变趋势；２．正确处理人山关系，３．重视研究山地垂直带谱的结构功能；４，整体关注山地河流的“下游效应”．山地研究的方法是：分类分析法和区域系统分析法，加上“从定性到定量的综合集成法”．

Mountain is characterized with vertical differentiation,diversity of natural elements,unstable environment, frequency-occurrence mountain hazards, undeveloped economy, and its typical 'islands effects'. Therefore, theoretic research of Montology should be Paid more attentions to following 4 aspects: 1. mouatuin formation and its evolution trends; 2. stable, orderal and coordinate development of man-mountain system ; 3. structure and function of mountain vertical zone;4. effects of lower reaches of mountain stream.Montology is a group of subjects whose research objects is mountain. It may be divided into essential theoretic subject group,technologic subject group and engineering subject group. The methods of mountain research Should be: the classifying analysis, the regional systemanalysis and 'the comprehensive collective methods including qualitative and quantitativeanalysis'. The technologic means of Montology includes: monitor and survey technology; physicaland chemical analytic technology; analog modeling experiment technolosyl computative andprocaining technology;and GIS technology.
