摘要
Bu Er Fa Men is one of the most important Chapters of Vimalakirtinirdesa, a famous works both in ancient India Buddhism and Chinese Buddhism. Recently, some Japanese scholars have found and published a Sanskrit edition of this sutra, which gives us a new chance to study this famous works. This paper tries to translate Bu Er Fa Men into modern Chinese based on Sanskrit edition, and then we make a new explanation of some problems relative to this chapter. It’s possible for us to deepen our understanding of some questions interrogated and discussed in the history of Chinese Buddhism by this way.
