摘要
在分布式虚拟环境中,为了提供高水平的通信服务,需要灵活高效的传输协议。分布式虚拟环境中传输的消息可以分为两类:大量的场景更新信息,这种消息需要保证实时性;相对较少的控制信息,这种消息传输强调可靠性。为满足分布式虚拟环境中消息传输的不同需求,这里实现了一种新的传输协议——选择性传输协议,并将其成功地应用于笔者实现的一个分布式虚拟环境平台CADRTI。该协议提供了有效的重传缓存管理,避免了确认信息爆炸,还可以有效减少系统通信开销及缓解网络拥塞。
In Distributed Virtual Environment(DVE) the high requirement on real-time communication needs a flexible and efficient transmission protocol.The messages transmitted in DVE can be classified into two kinds:update messages for scene description in large amounts and transmitted in real-time mode and control messages that are required to be transmitted reliably.In order to improve transmission efficiency and satisfy the different requirement for above two kinds of messages in DVE,the authors implement a new Selectively Transport Protocol.It has been successfully applied in CADRTI,which is a DVE platform.It provides an efficient retransmission buffer management scheme and avoids the ACK implosion.It also reduces the communication overhead of the system.
