The current studies on Su Qing mainly focus on her essays depicting on common people, while the studies on her narrative and lyric prose based on her hometown remain scarce. In fact her essays of this genre are moving and of unique artistic flavor. This paper, focusing on this genre of Su＇s essays, explores the charm of them.
