Study on the Social Responsibilities of Presidential Leadership in American University from the View of "Campus Compact"

作为一个拥有20年历史的教育组织,校园契约”有自己明确的目的和使命,并开展了一系列活动。美国大学校长的领导与“校园契约”的活动在培养学生的公民技能和价值、实现校长领导大学担负起社会责任的要求等方面,取得了明显的成效。本文的研究表明了大学校长在领导过程中承担对民主社会的公民责任的重要性。

As an educational organization with 20-year history, Campus Compact has its own specific purposes and mission, and has organized many activities. Presidential leadership and Campus Compact were quite effective in developing citizen skills and values of college students, and in making president to take social responsibility. This study showed the importance of social responsibility of presidential leadership in American university.
