摘要
自1990年美国联邦政府第一次制定国家教育发展目标以来,美国国家教育发展目标随着时代的发展而不断调整。在战略层面追求教育机会的均等和教育质量的卓越。在战术层面注重加强教育研究和成果传播;关注教育系统的灵活性与加大地方的责任,并建立与此相关的问责制;加强国家课程标准的建立和评估;教师和校长素质提高;信息技术的采用;发展安全的学校;家长和社区的参与与学生和家庭的选择;建立学工系统;提高管理的效率等。
In 1990 the federal government of the United States enacted national education goal for the first time. Since then, national education goal has been adjusted from time to time. At the strategic level, the goal seeks to ensure equal access to education and to promote educational excellence throughout the nation. At the tactical level, the goal is to transform education into an evidence-based field, increasing flexibility and local control, linking federal education funding with accountability for results. It also aim to develop standards and assessments in the core academic subjects, improve the quality of teachers and principals, use advanced technology, develop safe schools, involvement of families and communities in schools and school improvement efforts, provide options for parents, establish school-to-work system in every state and establish management excellence.
