The City Development of Beijing and the Population Security

人口发展与城市安全息息相关。北京市正在经历前所未有的、新的、全面的社会发展,因此,人口规模与生态承载、经济承载变成一个日益紧迫和严峻的问题,由此引发了大量的社会与安全问题。研究北京人口与安全的问题、对策,对北京市建设和谐社会有着十分重要的理论意义和现实意义。本文研究结果是,北京市至2020年可供养的最大人口数量是1800万。

With the fire-new and all-sided development of Beijing city, problems of the city development and population security occur inevitably. In the course of the society development, problems of the population scale, as well as the bearing capacity of the environment and economy become more and more urgent and severe, and arouse lots of society and security problems. Among those problems, the resolve of the city development and population security may be pivotal and will arouse a chain reaction. So the research of it becomes theoretically and realistically important, especially to the society harmoniousness of Beijing city.
