《云溪友议》是晚唐居士范摅的笔记小说。范摅的创作目的是为文人提供论文会友的谈资,所以在小说的题材内容方面和艺术表现方面求“雅”、求“趣”。“雅”是通过诗歌的大量录入和对文人生活的描写来体现的,“趣”是通过对标题、诗的选择以及人物选择等方面的精心安排来体现的。因此,此书在对唐诗的保存、对中晚唐文人的生活和追求及其与创作之间的互动影响的反映等方面,有着不可替代的地位。

Yunxi You Yi is the recluse of the late Dynasty Tang, Fan Shu＇s short novel. His writing aim is to provide the talking data for literati friends, so it seeks for＂elegance＂and＂interest＂in thematic content and artistic performance; the former shows through collecting a large number of poems and describing literati＇s lives, the latter makes it by delicately arranging the topic, the choices of poems and characters. Therefore, the book has an unreplaceable position which embodies in the store of the poems of Dynasty Tang, the literati＇s lives and pursuit in the late Dynasty Tang, and the intercutions between them.
