摘要
蒲松龄是清代杰出的小说家、诗人,其《聊斋志异》是中国古代文言短篇小说创作最高成就的代表;爱伦.坡是19世纪初美国的一位小说家、诗人,是美国短篇小说发展史上的奠基者。两位不同时期、不同国度的作家,在身世遭际与小说创作上都有着惊人的相似之处。在身世遭际方面,两位作家生前皆落寞孤独,身后却名声远播;在小说创作领域,两人都表现出对神秘恐怖题材的偏嗜,且在表现手法上极其相似。
Pu Song-ling is an outstanding novelette writer and peot in Qing dynasty, and a representative of highest achievement of Chinese short story; Allan Poe is an American novelette writer and peot in the early nineteenth century. Though different times and different areas they lived in, there are a stroking simitude in their novelettes. This paper compared their experiences, ereat fieldes, mystery and terried subject matters pegged from ghosts and spirits. A truth have been told: there are some communicated rules in literature work indeed. They would embody in different areas, times, and works of different writers.
