The interconnection between IPv6 islands can be implemented through IPv6 tunnel techology at the forepart of IPv6 developmeat. Introducing the concept and work mechanism and severval implementations of IPv6 tunnel technology and analyzing the security characteristic of IPv6 tunnel technology so that we have an in-depth understanding, the paper can provide reference for the actual application of the technonogy and the basement of security network.
