摘要
802.11 WLAN基础架构的DCF模式中,AP在竞争信道中并无优势,导致上下行带宽严重不对称,并且随着竞争站点数增加,信道利用率下降.为获取上下行比例控制下信道的最优利用率,首先根据数学模型得到竞争站点数与AP/STA最优初始竞争窗口值的关系,在此基础上提出一种新的MAC机制,通过分别设置AP/STA的初始竞争窗口,以达到优化目的.仿真结果符合数学模型,有效地提高了信道利用率,实现上下行带宽控制.
In DCF mode of 802.11, severe asymmetry exists between downlink and uplink data flow in infrastructure BSS, because AP shows no advantage when accessing the share channel. Meanwhile the channel throughput will decreases with the increase of the number of competing STA. The relationship between the number of competing STA and optimized minimum contention window of AP/STA is derived from a mathematical model, which takes both the maximum throughput and downlink/uplink bandwidth control into consideration. A novel optimized MAC scheme, which adjusts the minimum contention window of AP/STA based on mathematical model, is proposed. Simulation indicates that the scheme proposed can improve channel throughput effectively with downlink/uplink bandwidth controlled.
