Adaptive Rate Control for H.264 Video

多媒体在因特网络中实时传播,常因网络的带宽限制造成传输过程中数据包丢失.如何提高多媒体传输的质量是一个重要而有挑战性的任务.现提出了一种新颖的基于丢包率判决来自适应控制H.264视频流量的传输方法.实验表明该方法解决了有效带宽变化对视频传输的影响,很大程度上提高了多媒体传输的质量.

Transmissions of real-time video always have packets loss by bandwidth limited in Internet network. Thus, it is an important and challenging task to improve the quality of multimedia transmission service. This paper proposes a new adaptive rate control scheme for H. 264 video, which based on packet loss decision. Experimental result demonstrate that the method mitigates the impact of bandwidth variety and is also improves the quality of multimedia transmission service.
