摘要
新历史主义较多关注权力的争斗和人性的善恶,其代表人物斯蒂芬.格林布拉特在论述文学社会功能的时候提出了“颠覆”和“抑制”两个概念。“颠覆”主要是指对当时社会主流统治意识的反叛,而“抑制”则指对颠覆力量的抑制,对当时主流统治意识的维护。正是在这两种力量的相互斗争消解过程中,人性得以充分展现。本文从新历史主义批评出发,通过实例,展示小说《京华烟云》中“颠覆”和“抑制”两种力量的碰撞,进而对人性的美与丑,善与恶及其变幻莫测进行深入剖析。
New Histori(.ism pays morn attention to power conflicts and human nature as its representative, Stephen Greeblantt brought forward two concepts while discussing the social tunction of literature-subversion and containment. Suboersion mainly refers to the rebellion against the dominating ideology of thesociety, while Containment mainly refrs to the supression on the subversive power and the protection of the dominating ideology. Human nature is fully exhibied during the conflicts and counteracting exerted hy these two kinds of power. Starting from the perspective of new historical criticism, this "article reveals the collision of these two kinds of power in Moment in Peking through concrete examples, thus proceeding to give a profound analysis of the beautiful and the ugly, the good and the evil, the uncertain and the fluctuating in human nature.
