As two largest developing nations and two great civilizations, both China and India find that their diplomatic visions and practices are strongly influenced by their unique cultural legacies, i.e. Confucianism and Hinduism. Many cases suggest that their foreign options have been an outcome of blending realistic considerations with age-old cultural mentality, albeit the latter seeming to work underneath.
