A Comparative Research of feichang(非常) in Chinese and Japanese

“非常”一词在汉语、日语中都是一个常用的高频词。在不同语言中,它的意义、用法及使用规则并非完全吻合,而是既有相同又有差别。本文从历时的角度着重分析了汉语“非常”的发展历程,同时对比分析了日语“非常”的各种意义,梳理清楚了二者意义上的异同。然后阐述“非常”的用法,重点辨析了日语中表示“非常”意义的一组近义词。最后,通过偏误分析得出了“非常”一词在汉语中使用时的几条规则,以便学习者从汉日两个角度全面掌握“非常”一词。

feichang （非常） is a word often used in both Chinese and Japanese. In different languages, it varies in meaning and grammar. However, there are similarities as well as differences. The paper analyzes the development of feichang （非常） in Chinese from the diachronic point of view and compares different meanings in Japanese. Then it talks about the usage offeichang （非常） in Japanese, especially a group of words similar in meaning with feichang （非常） . At last, the author makes a conclusion of several principles offeichang （非常） so that learners can make a better understanding from both the angles of Chinese and Japanese.
