Discussions on the Technology and Standard of IPTV

从“TV”的含义、“IP”承载以及“IP与TV”的关系等三个方面分析了IPTV的内涵。通过对内容制作部分、内容集成部分、内容传送部分以及IPTV终端部分的说明,探讨了IPTV体系结构的标准化问题。阐述了IPTV面临的技术挑战缺乏良好的网络Q oS保证;传统的CDN不适用于IPTV;组播技术有待进一步发展;安全以及网络改造问题。

This article analyzes the connotation of IPTV based on the following three aspects： the meaning of TV, IP carrying and the relationship between IP and TV. After explaining its content creation, content integration, content transmission and IPTV terminal, it discusses the standardization of IPTV architecture. At last, it presents the technical challenges that IPTV faces, i.e. it＇s lack of good network QoS guarantee; the traditional CDN is not applicable to IPTV; multicast technology needs further development; the issue of security and network re construe tion.
