溃疡性结肠炎(UC)是一种直肠和结肠炎性疾病,其病因尚不十分明确。西医认为导致UC发病的原因主要包括环境、免疫、遗传等因素,目前研究最多的是免疫方面。中医对本病的治疗有着悠久的历史和丰富的经验,方法多样,副作用相对较少。本文作者探讨了免疫因素中抗中性粒细胞胞浆抗体、T淋巴细胞、黏附因子、细胞因子、一氧化氮、环氧合酶-2、核因子-κB等在UC中的作用机制及中医药对UC的治疗。

Ulcerative Colitis （UC） is an inflammational disease in rectum and colon. Its causation isn＇t fully definite. Modem medicine consider the cause of UC mainly include environmental, immune and genetic factor, etc. Most current researches are focused on immunopathogenesis. Traditional medical therapy for UC has long history and abundant experience. It has many methods and relatively less side effects. This article discuss immunological mechanism of ANCA, T lymphocyte, Adhesion molecule, Cytokine, NO, COX-2, NF-KB and traditional medicinal therapy of UC.
