On the History of the American Idealistic Foreign Policy

理想主义是美国外交政策的重要理论基石。从20世纪至今,美国理想主义外交政策经历了三次高潮,其内容也随着时代的发展不断调整。通过对美国理想主义外交政策历史演变的梳理和剖析,认为理想主义是美国外交决策的一种基本价值取向,并预测它将继续对美国外交政策发挥重要影响。

Idealism is the important theories basis of the American foreign policy. The American Idealistic Foreign Policy has reached peak for three times since the twentieth century. Its contents are adjusted to the time accordingly. Through analyzing the history of the American idealistic foreign policy, this paper thinks that idealism is a kind of basic value of the American foreign policy making, it will continue to exert important influence on the American foreign policy.
