A Brief Comment on the Mass-Communication of Traditional Operas in the Post-Stage Era

摘要 20世纪80年代以来,传播学的兴起为戏曲的研究开辟了新的理论视野。新媒体的繁荣发展进一步消解了戏台在戏曲艺术传播过程中的意义,电影戏曲、电视戏曲和网上戏曲为戏曲艺术的传播与接受带来了新的机遇和挑战。通过从传播学角度审视戏曲艺术的属性,分析电影、电视和互联网给戏曲传受带来的新的特点,可以反思戏曲在现代媒体下的生存状况和前景。 Since 1980s, the rising of mass-communication study has broadened new horizons for our approach to traditional operas. The prosperity and development of the new media makes a further diminishment of the stage as a spreading means in the arts of traditional operas, and traditional operas in film, TV and networks bring new opportunities and challenges to the spreading and acceptation of traditional operas. This essay, from the viewpoint of the mass-communication study, makes a new analysis of the traditional operas characteristic of film, TV, networks and gives a reflection on the living conditions and foregrounds of traditional operas against modern mass media.
