The control researches of seabuckthorn carpenter moth have made unprecedented progress for the break-out of the pest at a large scale. Both the basic studies and the application of muhi-coritrol methods have effectively prevented its further damage to some extent, however, some problems still exist in the researches. The paper dealt with the research status, existing problems and control strategies of seabuckthorn carpenter moth in detail to provide preferably theoretical basis for its studies and guidance for effective control.
