The Stress Concentration Factors at Corners of Flat Heads in Pressure Vessels

Results from finite element analysis were used to demonstrate that the stress concentration factors and the nondimensionalized hub length at the corners of the flat heads in pressure vessels are functions of three geometrical parameters and p.Approximate expressions for estimating the stress concentration factors and the nondimensionalized hub length are given.
