Establishing the effective system of prevention against and punishing corruption

反腐败是关系党和国家生死存亡的严重政治斗争。当前,反腐败斗争的形势还比较严峻,只有加强反腐倡廉教育、健全反腐倡廉制度、强化权力运行监督机制,标本兼治、综合治理、惩防并重、持之以恒,才能真正构建起预防和惩治腐败的有效体系。

Fighting against corruption is a serious political struggle which matters existence and non-existence of our country and Party. Currently, the situation of fighting corruption is still grave. The effective system of prevention against and punishing corruption can be established only by strengthening education of fighting against corruption and advocating honesty and cleanness, perfecting the system of fighting against corruption and advocating honesty and cleanness, reinforcing the supervision mechanism of power operation, seeking both temporary and permancnt solutions, performing the comprehensive governance and practicing punishment and prevention.
