间接言语行为语用推理的两种阐释——联理论和认知语言学的转喻观

The illustrations of pragmatic inference from two perspectives——Relevance Theory and metonymy in cognitive linguistics

关于间接言语的语用推理,不同的语用理论提出了不同的阐释。Sperber和Wilson的关联理论认为关联原则指导听话人对间接话语进行语用推理。Panther和Thornburg的言语行为脚本转喻理论认为言语行为脚本结构中的转喻关系构成了交际的自然推理图式。

The phenomenon of the indirect utterances is common in language communication. Sperber and Wilson propose the principle of relevance that is assumed to guide the hearers to understand the intended meanings of the speakers. Panther and Thornburg propose the speech act metonymy which illustrates the function of the conceptual metonymy in pragmatic inference. This paper attempts to illustrate the pragmatic inference of the indirect utterances from the perspectives of Relevance Theory and Speech Act Metonymy respectively, analyze their differences and possible connections.
