述宾式复合名词,指的是在内部构造上是述宾式,而在整体功能上是名词性的一类复合词。其在结构形式和功能意义之间存在着不对称:内部构造(即组合形式)是动词性的,而整体功能(即指称意义)是名词性的。原因在于其在形成过程中经历了由“述宾式动词词组”到“述宾式复合名词”的演变。

In modem Chinese there is a kind of predicate-object compound nouns whose internal construction is verbal but external function is nominal. There is asymmetry between the construction form and function meaning. The reason which leads to the asymmetry is that these nouns experienced changes from predicate-object verbal phrase to predicate-object compound noun in their construction process.
