In the history of western legal thought, it was the Roman jurists who formed the earliest professional jurist group in secular world. The Roman jurists who first separated jurisprudence from politics, ethics and philosophy gave a systematic explanation of law on its concept, origin, classification, structure and so on. They started the independent research on jurisprudence. Their practical creation on law left us rich heritage of legal thought.
