不同的文化群体具有各自的礼貌原则,并且受各自文化心理的制约和影响。英汉礼貌用语及行为的差异则反映了民族文化心理的差异。认识这一影响对实现跨文化交际具有重要的意义。

There exist different principles of politeness in different cultures. Members of different cultures may choose appropriate principles based on their own psychological cultures. This paper tries to discuss the impact of different psychological cultures between Chinese and Westerners on their choice of politeness.
