福建省及周边省份煤炭短缺现象严重,随着规划的火电厂的陆续建设,煤炭的供需矛盾日益突出,制约了经济的可持续发展,文章阐述了在福州港罗源湾港区建设大型煤炭储运中心的重要意义和建设的必要性和紧迫性。罗源湾港区具有丰富的深水岸线资源,优越的建港条件,具备建设大型煤炭储运中心的优良条件。

Coal shortage in Fujian Province is becoming more and more serious. With the construction of the planned thermal power plants, contradiction between supply and demand of coal is more and more obvious, which limits the sustainable development of economy. This paper expounds the strategic significance, necessity and urgency for constructing large-scale coal-transferring center in Luoyuan Bay of Fuzhou Port. The Luoyuan Bay takes an outstanding regional advantage in transportation having rich deepwater coastline resources and excellent port construction conditions and possessing excellent conditions for constructing largescale coal-transferring center.
