Numerical Solution of Two-dimensional Convection-diffusion Equations

本文给出了对流-扩散方程的数值解法,并证明了在对流项不占优时,中心差分格式导出的数值解稳定且具有较高的精度;而在对流占优的情况下,方程的数值解会在对流方向上发生振荡。

In this paper, a centered difference scheme is described for the numerical solution of two-dimensional convection-diffusion equations. The analysis of stability shows that the result is stable when the diffusion term is dominant, but when the convection term is dominant, the solution will oscillate on the convection direction.
