A New Method for Optimizing the Microwave FET Small-Signal Mode

The construction of the microwave FET small signal model is mainly dis-cussed.A new kind of objective function is obtained with the introduction of constraint according to the physical implication for each parameter in the model.The application of the objective func-tion in optimizing the microwave FET small-signal model reduces greatly the dependence of opti-mum on initial estimate and increases the computing speed with a greater accuracy.
