A kind of new type 12-bit serial ADC MAX1224/MAX1225 is introduced.These ADCs have the low-power, high-speed,and serial output characteristic.The function,principle and application method of MAX1224/MAX1225 are described in detail, and the application and the circuit connection method under the control of AT89C51 in data acquisition system are given.
