A NEW ELECTIVE AND DIFFERENTIAL MEDIUM FOR CAMPYLOBACTER PYLORI ISOLATION

新改良的CP选择鉴别培养基系在国内常用的选择性CP培养基的基础上加入2、3、5氯化三苯四氮唑(TTC),对CP的分离不但有选择作用,而且有鉴别作用。CP在新培养基上菌落呈现金黄色伴有金属光泽。该培养基对分离和鉴定CP方便易行,有利于临床实践推广应用。

A new modified medium by the addition of 2、3、5-triphenyltetraz-olium chloride for isolation and differentiation of Campylobacter pylori (CP) was introduced on the basis of the selective CP media conventionally used in our country. The colonies growing on this new medium present with a distinctive golden color glistening with metallic lustre, easy to be identified. The media, thus, will be ready for widespread use in clinical practice.
