混合光纤／同轴电缆（ＨＦＣ）网是一种刚刚兴起的宽带通信体制，代表了一种通向宽带通信的新途径。本文着重讨论了其特有的网络结构和服务区概念，然后还介绍了传输媒质、频谱安排、双向通信、供电、光纤节点、全业务网和网络管理等各方面的考虑。
A hybrid fiber/coax(HFC) network is a new rising broadband communication system whiich shows a new route toward the braoadband communication.This atticle discusses it's special netword architecture and servign area concept in detail. Then the article presents some considerations on medium, spectum allocation, two waycommunication,powering,fiber node,full service network and mangement issues.
