文艺学的学科边界问题再思考

On the boundary of Literary Study

文艺学的边界问题研究是近年来文艺学界讨论的一个重要议题。问题起于中国文学理论研究从20世纪80年代的"向内转"转变到90年代的"向外转",从文学自身的研究扩展到文化研究,从而产生了"越界"的问题。从学科发展逻辑来讲,文艺学研究向更宽泛的文化的扩展是积极的,但真正的问题在于文化批判的态度可能产生了对学术的客观性和公正性的销蚀作用。因此,文艺学研究在向文化扩展的同时,也需要回到文本、强化对具体现象的研究。

The debate about the boundary of Literary Study is an important theme. Researches of literary theory experienced ＂Turning Inward＂ in 1980＇s and changed to ＂Turning Outward＂ in 1990＇s, and the objects of researches were changed from literary works to cultural phenomena, thus giving rise to the problem of ＂transgression＂ . From the viewpoint of subject development, it is active to research from literature to wider cultural field. But the real problem is that the attitude to cultural critics may cause a kind of damage to objectivity and fairness of academic study. Therefore, Literary Study should be back to literary text and concrete phenomena.
