Foreign capital is undoubtedly playing a major role in driving up China＇s economy. Since the early 1980s, the actual foreign direct investment flowing into China has exceeded US$600 billion and its presence has expanded into almost all sectors as China opens to the world. In the past three decades, what has changed is not only the amount of the FDI, but also the investment models the foreign investors follow.
