应把统一战线提升为民族振兴统一战线

The United Front Should be Promoted as That of National Development

在新的历史条件下,去实现中国共产党的历史任务,面临着新的情况,因而肩负这一使命的统一战线应与时俱进地上升为民族振兴统一战线。这不仅没有否定、排斥甚至弱化爱国统一战线,而且,能更准确地对应当今的现实和时代背景;能更好地引导和发挥爱国统一战线的作用;能在外延上拓展统战空间;有利于强化国人的民族意识,并更好地应对全球化发展的挑战。

Under the new historical condition, the Communist Party of China is facing new challenge to realize its historical task. No doubt, the united front should be promoted as that of national development. This doesn＇t mean to deny , repel or even weaken the patriotic united front but to better deal with modern society, to better play its role, to better develop it, to strengthen national awareness, and to cope with the globalization.
