高强度TiO_2密封涂层多模导弹光纤的研制

摘要 高强度TiO_2密封涂层多模导弹光纤的制造工艺是在拉丝过程中把TiO_2沉积在光纤表面,然后再涂敷紫外光固化涂料,整个工艺在拉丝过程中完成.此种光纤显示出高强度和抗静态疲劳的特性,并能经受很高的工作温度而涂层表面不被损坏.TiO_2密封涂层能保持光纤的光传输特性不变.6km此种光纤通过1.379GPa张力筛选试验而不断裂.由于其研制费用不高,因此有很大的潜力投入批量生产. A low cost hermetic coating process was developed, whereby a titanium-oxide (TiO2 ) coating was deposited on multimode missile fibers on line during the draw process. The coated fibers showed increased strength and static-fatigue resistance, and were capable of with standing high temperature without suffering coating degradation. Optical properties remained after the hermetic coating was applied. Thelongest multimode fiber length of 6km passed a proof-test level of 1.379GPa without any fiber break. These hermetically coated fibers are with a minimum impact on fiber production cost.
