Research and Application of Tracing in ASP.NET

追踪技术对于ASP.NET应用开发具有重要作用,通过它可以获取各种各样的背景信息,提高整个调试过程的效率。本文在论述追踪的基本使用方法的同时,重点针对其获取信息量过大,从而难以从中快速寻找出所需信息的问题,从分析追踪输出流的形成过程入手,找出了几个能够在追踪信息被显示之前,对输出流进行修改的切入点,并基于这个切入点提出了几种追踪技术的改进方法,进一步提高了追踪的效率,弥补了追踪存在的问题,使信息显示更加灵活,使得整个调试工作更加快速有效。

Tracing is important to the success of ASP.NET applications. It can get many kinds of information, and will enhance the effectiveness of the whole debug process. This article will lay the foundation of tracing application in ASP.NET , analyze the form process of output stream and find the points at which can modify the output stream, so as to solw： the problem that inibrmation get by tracing is too huge to seek useful data from it easily. Finally, some method which will be helpful in improving tracing effectiveness and weakening its disadvantages are given, which will let display and debug work more quickly and effective.
