This paper is intended to briefly account the explorations of curricular construction, student autonomy and the like reforms performed by Shu Xincheng in Shanghai public schools in line with the Daltonian system, so as to demonstrate Shu＇s charming personality in his courage to introduce and adapt the reformsto the Chinese education.
