A Great Leap from Tradition to Modernity——Comments on the Three Stages of Female Consciousness Development in Su Ting's Work

作家舒婷的诗文创作自觉不自觉地反映出女性意识在其思想中的发展、演进。作为传统知识女性,其初期的作品多依从男性的价值观,尽显柔顺、温婉的东方女性色彩;而第二时期的作品视角多从男女两性的平等展开,有意识地选择了与传统对立的姿态;最终,性别意识成熟起来的作家最终在世纪末放下了性别矜持,走向了自信、自立、自然的女性时期。

Su Ting＇s works reflect the development and evelution of female consciousness in her thoughts,aware or unaware.As a traditional educated female,most of her early works always represent the side of orient female meekness and tenclerness,which complies with male concept of value,Nevertheless,her works begin to animadvert on the tradition from a view point of equality between male and female at the second stage.And finally the poet,whose gender can sciousness has grown up,abandons gender reservedness and exploits a time of confident,independent and natural femal.
