Monochlorotriazinyl-β-cyclodextrin （Ⅰ） is a new finishing agent for textiles, with which β-cyclodextrin is fast anchored into the fibers of the finished textiles. The clathration ability of β-cyclodextrin for guest mols. is retained so that functional clothes with perfume retaining, stench removal, skin protection, illness curing, air freshening, mosquito repellence, etc., may be developed. The properties, applications, anchoring tech. on fibers, anchoring quantity detn., and product storing method and cautions of Ⅰ were presented in details so as to guide the applications.
