摘要
以1,2-二氯乙烷和邻二甲苯为原料,在氯代乙基吡啶或氯代丁基吡啶与AlCl3形成的离子液体催化体系下进行烷基化反应得标题化合物。该体系所得的反应混合物容易分层,含催化剂相可重复使用,在反应温度70℃,n甲苯∶n1,2-二氯乙烷=9∶1,反应时间7h的最佳反应条件下,标题产物的收率最高达56.7%。
1,2-Bis ( 3,4-dimethylphenyl ) ethane was synthesized from alkylation of o-xylene and 1,2-dichloroethane in ionic liquids at room temperature. The ionic liquids were formed from annydrous AlCl3 with low-carbon-chain quaternary ammonium salt such as ethylpyridine chloride or n-butylpyridine chloride. The results indicated that reaction mixture was easily separated, and inorganic phase containing ionic liquid could be recycled under optimized reaction conditions : temperature 70℃ ; n ( o-xylene ) / (1,2-dichloroethane) =9:1, reaction time : 7h, production yield was 56.7%.
